My Philosophy
Movement is the best medicine. Motion is lotion… a term I first heard while in school and have internalized into my practice every day. Sometimes however, movement is painful. Whether it be from injury, chronic overuse, or simply the side-effect of a hard working body, pain can really slow us down.
put out the fire
Manual therapy, modalities, gentle movement, or even exercise programming is often times all that is needed to lessen the fire associated with acute pain or sports related injuries
re-train the brain
Chronic pain is frustrating to those who suffer from it. The human body is made up of an intricate nervous system that can be retrained to perform challenging activities without setting off the alarm bells we all know as pain.
